I attended Hays High School and went to college at Fort Hays State University! Go Tigers! I graduated from FHSU in May of 2017.
I earned a degree in Mathematics (Teaching) and Secondary Education. So I am certified to teach 6-12 mathematics.
This is my first year of teaching. I am very excited to start my teaching career at Wellsville Middle School! I will be teaching 6th and 8th grade math. I am also the 8th grade volleyball coach.
Preiviously I worked on-campus at Fort Hays State University. Through working there and through my undergraduate classes I was able to work many camps where I had the opportunity to teach students about science, technology, engineering, and math. I have worked with kids ranging from 1st grade to seniors in high school.
I met my fiance, Clay, right before my sophomore year of college at FHSU. We are getting marreid next summer in July. My twin sister is also getting married the same day!
Clay will be teaching 7th grade math in Gardner, KS. We do not have any children yet, but we do have a puppy. Her name is Mya and she is full of energy and loves people!
I enjoy playing sports, fishing, hanging out with family/friends, and taking Mya on walks. I also enjoy listening to music! I love to watch baseball, especially the Royals! I also love to cheer on the Jayhawks, Rock Chalk!!
