Wellsville FBLA had stellar performances from the FBLA members who attended the FBLA District VII Conference at Emporia State University on January 29. With 16 schools competing and over 400 competitors, Wellsville won the Top Overall Category with 824 accumulated points. 48 of the 54 from Wellsville who competed placed in the Top 10 in at least one or more of the 50+ business events that are offered. With eight districts in the state of Kansas, this competition allows students to prepare for competition at the Kansas FBLA State Leadership Conference in Topeka on March 30 and 31. At state, students will be vying for the opportunity to represent Kansas as competitors in their events at the national level. Wellsville FBLA members must place in the Top 2 in order to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah this summer. Thanks for your support of these great kids.
