Tryout for the 2026-2027 High School Cheer Squad are Friday at 6pm in the KD Gym; tryout practice is Monday night at 6:30 - all who are interested in trying out are encouraged to attend!
Forensics competed at the KSHSAA Regional Festival today and everyone did a great job with their events! We have 5 students that qualified for State and will be competing on May 2nd! Dear USD 289 Families,
Due to severe weather forecasted for this afternoon, we will be dismissing early today at 1:15 pm. Buses will leave the lots shortly after dismissal. All students will be fed prior to dismissal. Any family that wishes to pick up their student earlier than 1:00 pm may do so -- please contact your school's office. If your student normally rides the bus, but you will be picking them up today, please contact the transportation office to inform them of your decision. All after-school practices and activities are canceled today, including the WJRC after-school program. Thank you for your continued flexibility and support.

Congratulations to HS Band and Singers on their successful State Large Group performances! The band got a two excellent rating and Singers got a 1 Superior rating!!
⚾️Varsity baseball plays a doubleheader today! Game one begins at 4:30. The games will be played at Field 20 at 3&2 West Complex
Forensics team competed at the Paola tournament and did a great job! Eston Hills got 7th place and Kadence Cunningham qualified for State!! Congrats!

⚾🥎Baseball and Softball travels to Louisburg today! Games begin at 4:30. Softball will play a varsity doubleheader while baseball will play 1 JV game followed by 1 varsity game. The fields are located at 26600 Jingo Road in Louisburg.
