An individual's mental health is equally as important as their academic performance. Mental Health and Social/Emotional wellbeing are important parts of the USD 289 Strategic Plan. USD 289 is excited to host Mark Potter and his wife Nanette on Wed., Sept.7th at 6pm in the KD Gym to discuss these important topics with our students, staff, and community. Students in grades 6-12 will hear from Mr. and Mrs. Potter during the day. Parents and community members are invited to hear Coach Mark Potter, along with his wife Nanette, as they share their story of Mark’s personal experience with severe depression at the height of his career and how he overcame it to find success. shorturl.at/ilRVW
